Architects of a world in motion
Yesterday, an Institute of Geology; today, The Babel Community! The rehabilitation of this historic reinforced concrete building, designed by Jean Benoît, was carried out with great care, focusing on its forecourt, main façade, and rooftop.

In detail
The building's iconic lines and architectural style have been preserved. Today, it combines co-living units (137 accommodations) with co-working spaces for young professionals, featuring a gym and, as the pièce de résistance, a panoramic rooftop restaurant.

A solid stone base firmly anchors the building to the site and the slope of the hillside. Pilotis, ribbon windows, and overhangs introduce horizontal markers into this sloped landscape.
