Architects of a world in motion
In the Monplaisir district of Lyon, once the stronghold of the Lumière brothers, stands this complex of 45 apartments spread across two buildings. Here, the guiding principle is simplicity, with clean volumes, white façades, and the use of glass to let in natural light.

In detail
Sustainable development approach
The exterior spaces are extensively planted, promoting biodiversity and integration with the surrounding landscape. Particular attention has been paid to the permeability of the soil, with a major tree providing shade for the communal garden, which incorporates a small square as a convivial and ecological space.
A gap separates the two buildings to break up the linear effect of rue Saint-Nestor and bring light into the homes. In addition to creating a visual sequence, it provides access to the entrance halls and communal areas.
