Architects of a world in motion
The architecture of this Giga Factory is inspired by the philosophy of McPhy, a leader in the energy sector: dynamism, innovation and environment. The ambition was to minimize the project's visual footprint while emphasizing its presence within the ZAC du Grand Belfort. The result is a well-thought-out architectural design that enhances employee well-being.
This industrial facility is dedicated to the manufacture of high-capacity electrolyzers, unrivalled in Europe.

In detail
Sustainable development approach
Planted areas reinforce the site's identity and ensure a coherent landscape with the surrounding environment. They offer employees a sense of well-being, with fitness trails, picnic tables and communal vegetable gardens. Biodiversity is fostered by integrated stormwater management and an appropriate plant palette, including flower meadows, rural hedges and eco-grazing by sheep. A strong landscape dimension to recreate a significant green grid on the scale of the ZAC:
- Commercial: wood structure ;
- Industrial: timber frame;
- Hybrid gas/hydrogen boiler, photovoltaic panels.
The production hub is a single-storey volume located at the rear of the plot. At the front, the tertiary volumes interlock, expressing a symbiosis between tertiary and production.
